Pro Tips for OBS + Castara
Use Stream Delay
Add a 5-10 second stream delay in OBS to sync chat across platforms and prevent stream sniping in competitive games.
Enable Auto-Reconnect
In Settings → Advanced, set reconnect delay to 10 seconds with 5 retry attempts for maximum reliability.
Monitor Performance
Keep the OBS stats dock open to monitor dropped frames and encoding lag. Adjust settings if you see consistent issues.
Use Hardware Encoding
If you have a modern GPU, use NVENC (NVIDIA) or AMF (AMD) encoding to reduce CPU load while maintaining quality.
