By accessing and using Castara.live ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

Castara.live provides a multi-platform streaming service that allows users to broadcast their content simultaneously to multiple streaming platforms. The service includes:

  • RTMP relay services to supported platforms
  • Stream management dashboard
  • Usage analytics and reporting
  • Technical support for streaming setup

3. User Accounts

To use our Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Stream content that violates any laws or regulations
  • Broadcast copyrighted content without proper authorization
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Payment and Credits

Our Service operates on a credit-based system:

  • 1 credit equals 1 hour of streaming at up to 30 Mbit/s
  • Higher bandwidth usage requires proportionally more credits
  • Credits must be purchased in advance
  • Unused credits do not expire but are non-refundable
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

6. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

  • Perform maintenance with or without notice
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Impose limits on bandwidth or usage
  • Suspend service for violations of these terms

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your content. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to transmit your content through our relay servers solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with applicable data protection laws including GDPR.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CASTARA.LIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Castara.live and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
